I was reading an article written by a prominent Indian Islamic scholar named Maulana Wahiduddin Khan which is printed in today’s Times of India. In his article he condemned the terrorist attack of November 13, 2015 in Paris. He had also mentioned “According to Quran, killing of a human being is the worst act in God’s eyes. The Quran states that killing one person is like killing all of humankind (5:32).”
In fact I heard the same thing from several other Islamic scholars and they all mentioned it immediately after a terrorist attack.
I wonder why this line is at all there in the Quran.
